ASSOCIATION LA MEMORIA DEL TEATRO

The Association "La Memoria del Teatro" was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in Catania with a secondary office in Milan. Artistic director Francesca Vitale is also an actress, an author, a director trained at the Teatro Stabile di Catania, and a lawyer specializing in entertainment law. The organizational director is Renato Lombardo, with over thirty years of experience in organizing events related to theater and international jazz music.

The associations' activites are primarily divided into three sections: 

• ORGANIZATION OF THEATRE SEASONS AND EVENTS
• THEATRE PRODUCTION
• SOCIAL AND CULTURAL MARKETING TRAINING OF THE TERRITORY

MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION
A virtuous network of exchanges between artists and professtionals connecting the city of Catania to an international "OFF" artistic market; fostering international tourism and cultural development; promoting social community and empathy; making live performative art accessible to everyone at a low cost; raising awareness and creating new audiences, with a particular focus on young, vulnerable and disadvantaged social groups; economic-commercial impact on the territory; development of territorial/cultural marketing connecting the suburbs to the historic center; and an overall enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
